Synopsis: There is a vastness to this film that is strangely intimate. Religion, love, and faith are all put to the test here and found wanting. With stark echoes of today's entrenched beliefs and the violence they engender, "Soldier of God" focuses the Holy Wars of the twelfth century on two men. Beautifully shot and marvelously acted, "Soldier of God" is a thoughtful, insightful and an intelligent film to be enjoyed as much for its words, as for its scenery.
